TRIO Student Support Services at ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ is an educational grant funded by the Department of Education (ED). TRIO offers 250 eligible ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ students additional support to achieve academic success, including instructional support services, advising, and counseling. Our services are supplemental to other ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ services. Eligibility, set by the ED, is limited to students who are United States citizens, or meet residency requirements for federal student financial aid, and meet ONE of the following criteria:Â
- Be a first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has graduated with a 4-year degree from an accredited college)
- Meet low-income guidelines (“low-income” means an individual whose family’s taxable income for the preceding year did not exceed 150 percent of the poverty level amount, )
- Have a documented disability (physical, psychological, or learning)
Note: Students who have an Associate Degree may be eligible, pending availability. Students who are dual enrolled high school or have a Bachelor’s Degree are not eligible.
